Exclamation Torque Shift, slow reverse

I have a 2004 F250 6.0 PSD with 25,000 mile on it, i love the truck it runs great but i am have a problem with a long delay going from drive to reverse. When plowing and the transmission is at running temp. Their seems to be a 20 sec delay when going it to reverse. When i shift in to reverse and hit the gas nothing happens until reverse locks in like some kind of interlock that dose not allow the engine to accelerate until reverse locks in, when it dose lock in it then suddenly accelerates to the position of the accelerater pedal. I took it to the dealer and they said they computer tested the tranny and it was fine, then they alse said they reprogramed the computer to fix the problem, well the problem is not fix, Anyone else haveing this problem.

There's a Ford Customer Satisfaction campaign going on right now for Torqshift problems. See below. This one is for '05's but there is a similar one for '04's.

3661 - 2005 F-SUPER DUTY TORQSHIFT - REVERSE SHUDDER, LOSS OF REVERSE AND TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKAGE
SOME 2005 F-SUPER DUTY VEHICLES WITH A TORQSHIFT TRANSMISSION (ALL GAS MODELS, AND 6.0L DIESELS BUILT BEFORE 12/13/2004) MAY EXHIBIT REVERSE SHUDDER, LOSS OF REVERSE AND TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKAGE. THIS CONDITION MAY BE CAUSED BY THE REVERSE CLUTCH-TO-CASE SNAP RING BECOMING DISLODGED, RESULTING IN A HOLE IN THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CASE. THIS CONDITION IS TYPICALLY ASSOCIATED WITH SNOW PLOW OPERATION. OVERHAUL PER WORKSHOP MANUAL USING A NON-PTO CASE (5C3Z-7005-AA) OR PTO CASE (5C3Z-7005-BA) AND INSTALL A NEW LOW/REV SNAP RING (DIESEL-ONLY 5C3Z-7D483-B; GAS-ONLY 5C3Z-7D483-D). TO PERFORM EFFECTIVE REPAIR, ORIENTATION AND PROPER INSTALLATION OF THE SNAP RING IS REQUIRED. USE INSTRUCTIONS POSTED UNDER 'WHAT'S NEW' ON THE PTS WEBSITE (US DEALERS), WWW.INFORD.COM (CANADIAN DEALERS) OR WWW.MOTORCRAFTSERVICE.COM (OTHERS).
