Hello all. My name is Adrian, I own a 1998 Mazda B4000 4x4 (same as Ranger). I am from New Brunswick in Canada. I have had trouble with the Vacuum hubs but have done the fix where you remove the metal clip to make them engaged all the time. Everything is fine now, except for the occasional flashing 4hi and 4lo lights when switching to 4wd. which is I believe caused by the vehicle speed sensor, I will replace that when the weather warms up. I found that if you remove Fuses 25 and 26 for 1 minute it will reset the flashing lights on the dash, and enable 4wd to work again. This is great forum with lots of good info.
