1949 All Wheel Drive

Hi I am looking for information on a 1949 Ford half ton pickup that is a 4 wheel drive model. Any info would be a big help.

The guy you need to call is Chuck at Chuck's Trucks (203)288-2769 (chuckstrucksllc.com) He has at least 3 original 1950 4 wd drive trucks. He will be very helpful.He also carries a lot of parts.

Your front-end would be a Dana 41, with a Marmon-Herrington transfer case. They are fairly rare and worth restoring, in my estimation. Mikesford is correct, contact Chuck Mantiglia. He has parts, experience, and advice about these. Don Chew in Colorado is also quite knowledgeable about these.
