I have a '93 F-250 and like so many I have seen the right side of the front bumper is starting to sag. I have seen this mentioned here before but can't find it now. What causes this? How can it be fixed? Looking right now I can't seem to find any physical defect. Would appreciate any help here.
My 93 has done the same thing. Mine was loose. Had to use concrete blocks and a small hydro. jack to do the job. It's
fairly simple. Just jack the bumper up untill it's where you
want it at and tighten the bolts on it. The bolts are kind of hard to get to. Helps access if you remove the plastic "spoiler"
(?) from the bottom side of the bumper if you still have one.
Oh yeah, you may want to use a piece of wood as a buffer from the
jack to bumper contact point. Thease type bumpers sometimes have to "wrap" around the front of the truck. So you might have to loosen the opposite side to get it aligned the way you want it. Good luck to ya. Hope this helps.
