Heres the deal... 98 with a 4.6, 150k miles. The radiator has a leak, can fix that. Problem is when at a stop then accelerating it almost dies at times, runs rough. Before I replaced plugs and wires it really ran rough. Replaced fuel filter also. But it still has that issue, oh and it doesnt blow hot air... So had it checked guy is a Dodge mechanic but had a scanner. he said misfire on a certain cylinder, he was saying either cracked head or head gasket. Is this right? If so am I better off getting a new motor or fixing the head? Any help/advice appreciated! Thanks.

Checking codes is not adequate to come up with a meaningful diagnosis. You need to do a cylinder leak down test and listen for escaping air when pressurizing that cylinder. You also can pressurize the cooling system to see if it is losing pressure.
Its basically where you put the motor on TDC compression and pump the cylinder full of air...there is a acceptable amout of "leak down" in the system, if you find a hole that is not within speck, you have your culprit.
You need compression, spark and fuel to have combustion, I would get the missfire code from the NGS....or what ever you are using and check that hole for spark, injector pulse, and do a leak down test.
