Ranger Face Lift?
I have a 1994 Ranger Ext. cab 4x4. Its a 4.0L, 5-speed. I was wondering if anyone has done or knows if its possible to replace the front clip from my '94 with a newer Ranger clip, say from a '99 and up. My main concern is the body lines matching up. The cabs of the newer style appear to be the same as the cab on my '94. If anyone has information, i would appreciate it.

I don't know if this will apply to what you are doing, but I know the cabs on the 98+ are not the same as years before. They are 3 inches longer. But again, I don't know if that would effect replacing the front parts. Just thought I'd point it out.

I compared my father-in-law's 2004 Ranger XLT with my 1994 Ranger XLT and just from 'eyeballing' them, it looks like the complete nose could be changed to the newer style with no problem (other than expense). I wouldn't mind doing it, but for my money, I think I would rather find the fender flares, grille, and plastic bumper cover from something like a Splash to upgrade my truck.
