Im geting ready to build my 400 and want the most out of it for my 62 unibody pickup. I plan to race it at a local strip some. Does anyone have some tips. What can i do with my 2 barrel heads as well.thanks, Jeff
First of all welcome, and don't call a 400 a big block. (see FAQ) There are multitudeness (how's that for a big one) threads here on building a 400. You need to tell us more about what you are putting it into, weight, trans, gears and the size of your wallet. Also you need to know what if any class restrictions you may come up against for drag racing. http://home.earthlink.net/~bubbaf250/index.html http://www.off-road.com/ford/flashback/400_power.html http://www.projectbronco.com/Technic...e_build_up.htm
These are some good articles to start to get you up to speed on the 400 and then to help you develop some questions approproate to your build.
