taurus forums?
My sis has one and I think some mechs are pulling her leg on a few things.
I've never heard of a power steering flush. Coolant, brake lines, tranny yes.
But power steering?
Is there something about taurus PS that's special?
I've invited her to join FTE, the best there is, doncha know.
I know she'll be well taken care of here.
Flushing the power steering on a Taurus isn't a bad idea. I've seen the oil in them get very black when the rack has problems inside it. How many miles on it? Any sign of problems?
Some garages do push flushes a lot as they are easy money.

Yes, I agree, flushing the PS system is a good idea, you should notice some improvement in the steering and it also can help with the "whine" that many Ford PS pumps seem to develop. I recommend a synthetic fluid, I use Mobil 1 ATF in all mine.
