Warranty

I recently had the 30,000 miles svc done on F 150. I'm thinking of servicing my truck myself or have a other service shop perform the service, will this void the warranty....

also w/34,000 miles, brake pads have to 3mm to it, guesstimate 2000miles of drive left in em. disc rotors look fine, will i be safe to just replace thepadsw/o turning the rotors.

As far as your brakes, if you don't have a shimmy at high speeds when applying the brakes your rotors are probably not warped. If they look good and don't have deep grooves I would just replace the pads. The pads are a breeze to change.

Your owners manual say anyone can maintain your vehicle, you just have to keep records to prove it was done. If the work (or lack of work) done on the vehicle does not meet ford standards, problems occuring from the work will not be covered under warranty.
