I'm looking at purchasing a really low mileage 2003 XLT SuperCrew 4x4. It has the 5.4 Liter in it with a tow package. But I want to find out for sure what rear end ratio it has and whether it's limited slip. What's the codes I need to look for on the tag? I'm assuming it's either 3.55's or 3.73's. I'm hoping for 3.73's.
not sure about codes but you could probably look at tag on rearend. itll say right there either 355 or 373 along with 975 i think. there are 2 tags i believe. one is oil recommendation and the other is ratio.
