My '95 7.3 PS hesitates from time to time (mostly when it is cold) like it died and fired right back up. I had a man tell me this hesitation was caused by a sensor that needed to be replaced. He said the truck would eventually die for no apparent reason. Well, it did at one of the busiest intersections in town about two months ago but started back up after about 30 minutes. Can anyone tell me about this sensor or otherwise why it might have died. The truck still runs great other than that.
Sorry to hear that....
don't know this...(don't have a 7.3... but will try to help)
but maybe referring to the CPS ?
IIRC - that's the Cam Positioning Sensor ?????
and is an EASY swap out...
