Another Ranger!!
Well fellas, I told ya'll I'd be back!
I bought a 1986 Ranger on Saturday and I'm luvin' it!
Bought it from an old man who bought it new in February of 1986. It has the 2.0L with the 5-speed manual transmission. Everything is in fair shape. The red paint is a little faded and the dash has some serious cracking going on, but all-in-all, I'm tickled to death!
Only has 65,000 miles on the clock. Those are the actual miles at that. I don't think that I did bad at all for $1,000. It's not quite as powerful as the 1992 2.3L Ranger that I had, but hey, it's only a 4-banger.
I don't really have any problems at this point. I'm hoping that I don't have any! I reckon the purpose for this was to say that I'm back! I still have my 1994 F-150, but that baby is going to be my weekend cruiser. This Ranger is my new daily driver/work truck!
BTW, what kind of fuel mileage should I expect?
