04 E150 Smart Key?

04 E150 Smart Key?
OK, I'll try to make this my last DUH 
post. Did the 04 E150 vans use Fords 'Smart' key system? It appears that the van we just bought for our company doesn't use this system. I don't have the van at my place,so I cannot check it myself right now. I saw the keys that came with the van and they don't resemble the key to my 03 F150. In fact one of the keys is a plain metal key.
