Automatic Headlights Question???

I have a 2000 EB and I have looked through the owners manual and can't find any way to adjust the length of time the lights stay on after turning the engine off. It says 20 seconds in the maunual, that is enough time to get out walk around the vehicle and unbuckle my 3 year old (partialy) and then it is dark. Not a problem at my house as I have a motion light where I park but at night in other places it would be nice to set it for a minuet or so. I won't even start on Fords better idea not being able to use the foglamps in the auto setting.

My 99 has a thumbwheel type roller next to the dash dimmer roller that adjusts the timer and turns on/off the automatic headlights. Right beside the headlight switch with the better idea of fog lights on/off switch.

I get a chuckle out of the fog light thing.

I guess they must have had a problem with the thumb wheel idea, mine only has one for the interior lights. I have read posts on here of people re-wiring their fogs to work when the headlights are on no matter what position the switch is in. I guess it is silly to complain about turning a **** 3 inches or so huh?
