bed mounts,,,,
I have a 85 F-250 that had a aluminum flat bed on it when i bought it, I also have a good 81 bed that i want to put on it, my problem is, that I need to know how the bed is mounted to the frame, I know there is bolts ,and bushings , but where can i get the washers from... LMC doesnt sell them for the newer setups yet,, any ideas???

On my 85 F-150, the bed bolts directly to frame, no bushings or padding. I used 1/2 inch galvanized carriage bolts with 5/8 washers under the head. Make sure you use a flat AND a lock washer underneath, or, you will be tightening them every other week. Also, you could use stainless carriage bolts if you are worried about future rust. The OEM bed bolts aren't worth the extra money, just go to your local hardware store.
