Speed Odometer

Got a 02 HD F150. Having problems with my speed odometer? Mileage display is not clocking properly? Know of any way to fix or disconnect completely?

if you changed the tire size , it has to be reset for calabration

no the auto trans if you have one will not shift correctly and your abs will be the same. input to the speedo head is off the rear axle ring gear. its effected by tire size changes. your dealer or some one with a programer can reset the tire size input its not a major thing

plus it is illegal to disconnect it.
