Where does the red green stripe wire go from the key switch? It is paired with the pink resistance wire and that feeds the coil and is hot during cranking and run obviously.
I am going to bypass the resistance wire because i am using an MSD coil. I am also doing away with the start solanoid and will use the black bypass lead to power my ignition module. Where can i get a wiring diagram online for my 68' F250 with an FE motor?
Im using a CSI Starter, that has the solenoid built into it, so the + Batt goes direct to the starter, and the red wire from the Ford solenoid goes to the other terminal on the starter. The CSI starter has 2 terminals on it. The other wires from the existing ford solenoid can all be re routed down to the starter as well. If done correctly, and proctected from heat, makes for a nice clean install.
