Gas Prices

I was talking to a friend in WV...she said gas prices went from $1.85 to $2.32 overnight. Haven't checked here in Minnesota yet, but what are they where you are at?

$1.93 at the cheapie Safeway station. They're .10-.25 cents cheaper than anyone else. Diesel @ $2.85 has to hurt though.

good ol' george W. better get to doin something about all this. the darn fools keep printing moneya nd making the dollar weaker. they better get to workin on this. if not it might take a truck load of money to buy a loaf of bread. its crazy the things they are worrying about when there are actually more important things around the USA to fix. things are getting so expensive that you got to work to pay for a place to live and food and so on. cant hardly go out and do anything anymore without spending around $60 on a night out with the G/F and thats if we go to burger king to eat, lol.

Glad i Filled up for the month friday before this huge jump, and it was still a $75 fill up. I think I'm gonna have to buy a holding tank and try to get bulk discounts.

Apparently, crude has set another all time high per barrel. I honestly don't think it will ever go down. Now that the oil companies have us used to paying so much, chances are they won't lower it much.

But if you really think about it, it's not that bad considering that we are fighting 2 wars in 2 different theaters. The last time that happened (WW2 I think), you couldn't buy much especially fuel. So really I don't think it's that bad.

Give me an M16 and I'll go liberate Iraq's oil fields, who's with me. =P I'm sick of this crap too.

Has me concidering trading in my truck already. The other day (when the hike occured) I passed two stations still at 1.81 and went for my alignment. Left and one had bumped to 1.94 adn so I raced across town and got my card in before they switched the last station in town (thank you Kum & Go) to 1.94 like everybody else. BP/Amoco had been that way since early morning...girlfriend filled up there on accident and paid 2 bucks a gallon+ for 87 regular. Complete....don't want to get edited.....

Why can't we just flex our muscles (the US), take over all of the Middle East, and then supply the WORLD with cheap oil. Honestly...

Here in southern Colorado its been in the $1.90's-99 for the last couple of weeks. This is getting real old real quick. I Know a old timer that has a ranch in Southern Texas. He has had all 4 of his oil tanks full since January, all of his neighbors are ready to ship crude too, problem is the refineries havent been buying oil from them. Bush isnt helping matters either, he could get on the phone make one call to OPEC problem solved, but why would he do that since his retirment plan would be at risk. Just because he cant touch it now doesnt mean he wont be rolling in it a few years from now. I miss the Clinton years, at least ***** had the stones to demand OPEC to keep oil production up and prices down.
