Before you guys load up the guns and invade the Arabian countries, you might want to know that they are not responsible for oil being in demand. Besides the Americans that don't want to give up their way of life, the Chinese have been growing by leaps and bounds and quess what? Like Americans, they have fallen in love with the four wheel beast too. If America, namely the USA, doesn't get its head out of its backside, the Chinese will be the worlds economic power and its coming at an alarming rate. Be prepared for gas at $2.80 and diesel at $3.00 per gallon. Its coming to your neigborhood soon.

you should try paying the prices that we pay in canada for gas after a little bit of that you'd think your prices are cheap 86.9 cents/liter = 4.5 liters per gallon = about $3.90/gallon

Just so you know an oil company engineer in the Doraville, Ga terminal got a 6 figure bonus this year. The oil companies have every one of us over a barrel and will continue to do so. I make my living by being on the road selling lumber, I have no choice. There is no one held accountable and profit taking is rampant. They ratchet up prices and you start to think 1.65 is a super deal if you find it. The amount of crude going to China is astounding, as posted. We send everything in the world to be manufactured over there. It's a labor cost issue per the companies who do it. Keep supporting them and they will continue their trends. This is a global economy with America paying the lion's share of the bills. Yes, I am over it, No, I still have to provide for my family.

LOL, see the Venezeulan president today threatening us today with his remarks about how "the end of cheap oil for the world is over" and if "the US tries to take my life, not on e drop of our oil will ship to the US". Plus they just signed a contract with India to allow India to setup operations there.
I'm getting more and more pee'd off about this. I think I was born 13 years too late, otherwise I could have enjoyed a 92-96 F-series for a couple years, instead of just now acquiring my first vehicle (96 F-150), and prices will spiral up out of control.
Problem #2: We're threatening Iran over nukes, and now Iran is threatening with Oil.
Problem #3: Global warming, etc.
Problem #4: China, India
Problem #5: Planet's remaining oil supply
Probl.....on and on

Went from 1.82 9/10 to 1.89 9/10 overnight (for regular unleaded), here in Southern Maryland. 7¢ jump.

A friend in Frederick, Maryland said gas went up 20¢ in 2 hours, last Friday.

BOHICA!!!!

for my business I spend in excess of $1000 a month in gas & that is using Pickups & Econoline vans,,, I charge enough to make me not bitch full time about fuel prices,, sure driving 10mpg old sleds at todays prices is a joke but Im doing it to make money. Would I drive these vehicles for commuteing? **** No!

I will say that if it gets much higher I could see a poor economy to follow.

The days of getting anything for cheap is over.
