Howdy from the desert

We have limited time to use on the computers here in the 'internet cafe' and I still need to email my family, so I'm going to make this short.
We made it to our destination safe and sound and I'm supprised to find the conditions here are actually kinda nice, if it werent for the sand storms that is. So far it aint to bad, but it's been pretty cool temps lately.
There hasnt been much free time since we got here but what little we have me and my buds have spent in the gym or at the MWR tent wich has a couple pool tables in it!
We are living in tents for now but sometime in the next couple months we should be moving into trailers. In all honesty though the tents aint that bad either. I managed to get a hold of an air matress making my stiff ol cot a bit more home like. I have a lot of real neat pictures I'd like to share someday, but for now I cant put any up that may jeprodize OPSEC.
Welp, I realy want to thank those of yall back home who have been emailing me with your support and well wishes. We are all doing great and are extremely proud to be serving our country and to be helping these fine folks. I wont be able to get on the internet too often but when I do I'm more than happy to write back to yall, I appologize for taking so long to get back to some of you.

Yall take care now and hold down the fort for us till we come home.

I can't say thank you long enough or loud enough. You are doing a job that needs to be done. Ultimately, the world will be a better and safer place because of you. ff56
