Question squeaky speedometer
I have an 86 4x4 150 with a squeaky speedo. How does the cable come off the speedo? There's a plastic clip, I can't get it loose and I'm worried I'll break it. Also what's good to lube it?

Push the clip to one side, and it should release. Squeeze it inward toward the center of the cable.

Franklin is right. You have taken off pad? It won't come off easy, and not much room to work. Try unbolting and pulling cluster out A LITTLE forward to give you more room
