My '04 Fx4 has been problem free other than the recall on the taillight. I have almost 12k on the truck. It's a great truck so for and I've owned 9 Ford trucks since I bought a 1968 F100 4x4 in '70. Still have that truck. Talk about a rough ride. It would make a pregnant woman have her baby to soon. On the '04 I get 14.5 to 15 mpg locally and 17 to 18 on the interstate and that that at 75 mph. I pull a 3000 lb Bass boat and still get 14 mpg. I love this Truck.
