Hey Guys,
I recently got rear ended by a mustang at around 50mph. To make a long story short, it tore up the rear end pretty bad. I had a new axle put in, the frame straightned and replaced the rear blocks with leafs (it has a 6" superlift lift) among alot of other things.
Well unfortunately the springs really raised the rear end of the truck alot. i dont have it back yet, but i sat in it and i feel like im riding in an old hot rod lol. So i was wondering if i can run a set of 2" spacers in front to componsate for the sag. Will spacers work with a lift kit???????????? My cousin told me they would probably work, as long as thier the kind that bolts above the springs. Can someone verify this??? By the way....its a 94' Shortbed f150 with a 5.8 in it. Thanks for the help guys!

hmmm.....well for some reason, my cousin told me that if i were to use spacers with my current lift, not to use the ones that go on the bottom, only use the ones that sit on top. Do they even makes ones that sit on top for my truck? i dont want the truck to ride like crap, i just wanna level it....any ideas??????? please help thanks guys

I don't know what he's talking about. There is really no way to put a spacer on top. You only have a J hook on top. there would be no way to secure the spacer on top. At the bottom, the bolt goes all the way through. It really doesn't matter what lift you have, a coil spring is a coil spring.
I have 1 inch spacers on my 95 F150 along with superlift coils. I had a freind that worked at a machine shop make these for me. They can't be any taller than 1 inch because of the bolt for the spring. Make sure that they are just slightly larger than the base of the coil spring. Also, the inside diameter needs to be large enough so that they sit on top of the spring pedistal correctly. They look just like a big washer. Because of the geometry of the ibeam suspsension, it actually lifts the truck about an inch and a half.
