93-94 Ignition Module(s)

Is the ignition module on a 93 F150 Scab w/351W (5.8L) and E4OD the same as one off a 94 F150 Reg Cab w/300-6 (4.9L) and E4OD? These are the new style that are mounted on the drivers' side fender, not actually on the distributor. Doing a motor swap, just wondering if they're the same/interchangeable?

What I would do is go to the parts stores website and look up each vehicle and see if the parts numbers are the same. Check with at least two parts sites to make sure.

The actual TFI module is likely the same...

If they are not the same, I happen to have one off a 92 5.8L. I'd be willing to part with it cheap.

Motorcraft lists a DY-533 ignition module for 4.9, 5.0, and 5.8 for both '93 and '94. The TFI is the same...
