Dead pedal is back

I had the latest FTE flash back in December and life has been great
but lately the dead pedal issue has come back. I've been using diesel clean as an additive on the last three tanks. Seems to happen more when the motor is cold. Mileage is still up at 17 MPG and everything else is fine just the dead pedal.

Anyone have suggestions?

IMO...this would not be unusual...depending, of course, on how dead the pedal is.

I get a dead pedal when it cold. I just let it warm up for a couple of minutes and take it easy until the truck is up to a good operating temp. Perhaps I misunderstand your dead pedal issue.

BRRRRRR, that's hot

What I don't understand is why a dead pedal at all? My 7.3 didn't do that. I wonder how many of these type issues could be traced back a bad computer?

The more I think about the various issues these trucks are having (hardware not withstanding) they fit just perfect with a bad run of computers idea. I wonder if one dealer could just replace it with a test computer and see if it all went away and create a real fix.
