lights wont go off

lights wont go off

you know those lights that turn on when your doors open?\
well mien wont go off no matter how well the door is shut, and im afraid one morning im going to walk out and the battery is going to be dead

is there any way i can tinker with it and fix it?

Not sure what kind of truck you are talking about. I would guess that your door switch is sticky though.

This is a very common problem in our trucks. search the forum and you will find PLENTY of answers for this question. The short version is to spray the mechanism with wd40 and it should resolve the problem.

Or check to see if your dimmer control for the dash lights isn't too far "up". That turns on the inside lights.

BTW..For the admins....What happened to our signatures?

It pops up when you put the cursor over the "signature" link

Ken is doing some tweaking and changes to the site. Hopefully everything will be working again soon.
