ford f150 fuel problem

ford f150 fuel problem

I have a 92 Ford f150 truck and cant figure out whats wrong. The truck will fire right up and crank, sit and run perfect for about 15 min. then i turn it off and it wont crank. it just turns and you can smell gas

So the starter spins the engine, but the engine won't run? Next time this happens, test for spark. Spark testers are cheap at any parts store. This will greatly narrow down the possible problems.

Let us know what you find.

yes, it has sparks. Like i said, when i first crank truck, it fires right up and runs perfect, but then when i switch it off and try to crank it again, it just turns, you can smell gas, like it flooded.
