I don't know Ford's current warranty, but my 2000 came with a 36k bumper to bumper - and a 100k on the engine. Check into it for the one you are thinking of buying.
Sorry, I was focused on the 36k in your question. My 02 is 3/36 bumper to bumper and 5/100k w/$100 deductable on the PSD. Both of these warranties are valid for any owner of the vehicle. Hope this helps.
So it's bumper to bumper regardless if your the original owner or not, right?
What do you guys think..... 2002 PSD Lariat Crew Dually 4x4 12k miles for $28k. If you think about it, that's close to $20k less than new price.
Heck, if the owner and I agree on paper at the DMV that the price is $5k, I'll save even more from taxes..
Yes the warranties apply to you if you buy it. As far as the price, dang!! That price seems pretty good. And 12k miles seems even better. Run it up on KBB, check the prices for Dealer Trade, Private party, etc. I bet it comes out higher than $28k. I booked my 02 PSD CC 4x4 Lariat not too long ago and it has 56k miles and it came out around $28k private party sell. Let me know if you do it. I'd be interested in how it came out.
