I put on Michelin cross terrains and had them road force balanced. They had to adjust the mounting on one of the tires and wheels to get a perfect balance. I have a 2004 2wd and have absolutely no wobble at any speed.

Only sure fire way to fix it. Have them buy it back!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would certainly be heading to the DSB or lemon law by now. But as my favorite phrase, I feel your pain.

My father Had a similar problem on his new explorer sport track from day one off the lot. Dealer tried a number of things including replacing the goodyears with goodyears, no change. What finally worked was a new set of Michelins. Dad swears by them and this only confirms how great they ride.

Expy03,

Did your Dad pay for the tires or did Ford?

The dealer called Ford and they said to put the Michelins on if that would fix the problem, even though Goodyear would only replace their tiers with new Goodyears. Ford is not all bad.
