How many supercabs built

How many supercabs built

I have a 1978 F250 Ranger XLT 4x4 supercab, I know there was not a lot of these built and even less with the ranger XLT package. I was wondering if anybody knows or knows how to find out how many of this type of truck were built.

i emailed Ford.com and requested build sheets for both of my trucks, and for the numbers of trucks with my options in those years....they sent me both build sheets free of charge, and they show all the options the trucks had when ordered......but, they emailed me and told me that Ford didnt keep track of how many of which options were put out because there were so many different ones....but they gave me the production totals for the series trucks i have.....these are the numbers for the years i asked for..........

76 2wd F-150 regular cabs- 138,172
76 2wd F-150 super cabs- 32,992
78 4wd F-250 regular cabs- 74,712
78 4wd F-250 super cabs- 10,485

this is as detailed as their records get.........at least you know yours is 1 out of 10,485...thats not many if you think about how many Fords are on the road out there........

I wonder how many 76 f350 supercab? Do you think the number is figured in with the 150 or a different number?
