Just purchased a 03 E.B. Explorer.37,000 miles.
There is a Recall (#04S20) for the tailgate Hinges & Brackets.
Will Ford do this at their expense?
Also, how do I find the factory codes for the Keyless Entry?
Any assistance appreciated!

The recall is done at Fords expense. For the factory code you should have a little card in the owner manual. If not I know on the 2nd generation explorers it was in the rear where the jack was on the driver side on the control module I don't know about the 3rd generation explorer you can ask your dealershipbut they might charge you because they will hook up the computer. If you bought it from a Ford dealership they should have given you the code if from another dealership Ford might give it to you if you explain that you just bought it and the dealership did not have the code.
