One more trailer light question

I have a F150 with a trailer brake and a factory tow package installed. I have a 7-4 adapter installed and a circuit tester for lights plugged into it. I have my running lights but cannot get any turn or brake lights. They work on the truck side but do not seem to make it to the circuit tester. The wiring on the 7 plug coresponds to the 4 plug correctly(ground, left, right, parking) I have found one fuse that operates the running lights and have checked the others. I dont see a relay labeled for the trailer exlusively. Is there any others? Any ideas???

I THINK there's a small fuse box under the hood with 2 mini-fuses for the trailer light circuit; should be close to the main relay box. What year's your F-150?

Mine 1997 f-150 4.2L

Same problem I had, running lights worked but no turn or brake lights on the trailer connector.

Problem was like steina said their is a little fuse box like on the side of the main relay box, which as only 2 mini fuses in it (on mine it had a 5 and a 20 fuse and the 20 fuse was blown) replaced blown fuse and all works well.
