Now, now you guys .. come on ... you know it's the duty of lawyers and our law makers to protect us from ourselves ... REALLY!!! I personally think they ought to make a law stating that if we get out of bed we MIGHT get hurt in some way ... oh that don't work ..bed sores. OK ... how about .. if we leave the house we might get hurt some how ... oh ..nope .. that won't work either ... we could get hurt somehow INSIDE THE DANGED HOUSE. Well ... gee .. I guess that answers it ... we have to pass a law against humanity and reproduction. We are a stupid animal that cannot be considered capable of taking care of itself and so we should just be eliminated ...... WAIT!!!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!... NO MORE FTE, NO MORE ...ANYTHING!!!

Isn't life just great? And because of people like this... there's a lawyer someplace who would take what I said above and probably TRY to pass something as stupid ... and probably succeed.

Teenagers & early 20's people for Decades have been thinking they're Invulnerable.
With the technology that has produced even more dangerous things, the stakes get higher.

Ah, the question we've all been wanting to ask.

A lawsuit could be avoided in the future by posting signs stating "The management, ownership, or any entity connected to or parked in this parking garage are not responsible for any injury or death due to falling from this building, by jumping or otherwise. Vandalization of this sign will result in being thrown from the building."

Me too.

It's been theorized that since playgrounds have been so sanitized and made so safe (due to lawsuits), that kids aren't getting the more minor injuries they used to...skinned elbows and run of the mill broken arms...or the thrills they used to from "dangerous" but lesser stunts.

So to get the thrills and "learning experiences" we used to from good old asphalt playgrounds, they trun to more extreme stunts.

I've done stupid things -
But I always managed to draw the line at SUICIDAL things.

"I just didn't make it" is an understatement, and reading between the lines:

Figure the odds he tries it again???

Dosent it say somthing in the Bible to the effect that man will become so intelligent he will become stupid?
Being from the South and over 50 I have a theory about this.
Darwin was right but we have reversed evolution by catering to the weak and helpless. Thats not to say we should ignore or misstreat them, JUST DON'T LET THEM RUN THINGS!

they run things because we allow them to live by making laws to protect them against common sense. Stupidity will never die because we wont let it.
