Talking Bolt-On Exhaust

Anybody buy a bolt-on system and if so what do you think? I need a 4" turbo-back system (don't we all!) and was wondering about ease of installation and overall performance? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Mine was a bolt on. I can't remember the website now. Been about a year, but it bolted right on with no problems for $300 delivered to my door. Aluminized 4" turbo back with a 5" tip to boot.

Stay away from Full boar unless you want cheap, crap quality.

I got a 5" Pro-Flo system with 5" chrome tip, I love the exhaust but I didn't like the challenge it was to get the darn thing installed. If you have the time and patience the payoff is a nice sounding exhaust with lots of turbine whine and deep rumble at idle. Although for most applications a 4" is more than adequate.

Items needed:

Assorted deep SAE sockets with extensions
Sawzall or hacksaw (to cut downpipe and section going over rear axle) or
Jack and stands (support transmission when removing transmission crossmember)
Decent pry bar
12 pack of beer
Friend or spouse to help hold exhaust and/or beer

That's all I can think of now.

I was sorta interested in the Banks system. What don't you like about it? Easy installation is right up my alley though.

pretty much paying for the name, all it is, is 4 inch straight pipe, you can build that yourself, very easy to install though.
