Is this engine a Interference engine or not? My parents Explorer just broke the timing chain and I need the answer so I can say buy a chain or engine. Sad thing is I want to say engine...just to rub it in. See the story behind this is they let one of thier friends (who is now in jail, go figure) use it and she didn't take care if it (i.e. got in a wreck, never changed the oil, trashed the interior, and burned off the front and rear brake pads) so you can see why I want to say motor, I would think it would be the perfect "I told you so". Going back and reading my post I noticed that I came off a little harsh, trustme when I say that I would say it in jest.
