Problem with rear heating and cooling system

I have a 1997 Expedition Eddie Bauer with rear air. The problem I'm having is with either the front or rear controls the panel will not blow hot. If I change the airflow to floor it changes to hot (if selected) and still some air comes out of the panel and thats the only way I can get hot air to come out of the panel. Also when swicthed to floor airflow I can change the temp of the air w/o any issues. My other Expedition (same year) when you switch to floor only air comes out from the floor and when panel is selected only air comes from the panel. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Could it be the blend door?
Heater Treater: Lincoln Navigator ’97-’02

I have a recently acquired 98 navigator in need of a motor. So In preparation of problems I have been researching these trucks. I've found 3 problems that Appear to be very common: blend door, heater core and air suspension and im sure there are more. But what I can't find on this forum are "stickys" for such common problems. This forum is full of help, but maybe the mods can gather a list of common problems and put them at the top for situations like this.
