well you see, my tow hitch is rusted in place worse then ive ever seen b4, i pulled two trucks out with it, no pin (didnt notice) and it didnt budge, and i was jerkin it hard. so ive been using wd40 and some other stuff to try and break it up a lil. but anyways my plan is to lube it for a few days then tie er to a tree and let er rip...... so im looking for opinions on my "great" plan..... criticism is welcome lol.
oh and btw ive been looking for wled since i noticed it didnt have a pin and i havent seen any anywhere, even looked into the back of the hitch to make sure it was welded on the indside..... nothing. so unless im blind it has to be rusted like a ****.

you could try that, dont let anyone stand too close though....you might try hooking the chain up to the tree and pull the truck forward to put tension on the chain, then smack the hitch a few times with a big hammer while the tension is on it.....or just put 'er in low and try to pull the tree down!!!
its the square reciver hitch type. i would yank it like that but i dont really want to rip my bumper off lol. and if i cant pull it out with 4 low, (ill be on pavement idealy) then im just gonna cut it off and get a new one. either way i gotta get rid of it cause whenever i climb anything it hits the ground which stops me from reversing, almost got stuck in a huge ditch cause of that one. hopefully it comes out tho cause its still good and i plan on toeing some things later on down the road but whatev not getting stuck is more important to me right now. thx for the input btw
my granpa did this a few years ago, to get the reciever out of his, but he welded it and then he wanted it out
was he dids is he pulled is truck up to the biggest oak tree in his yard, like right up to it, chained the fram to the tree, then he got his tractor, and attached the chain to the hitch and pulled it out, i htink he actuall chained the reciever thing up the tree, to keep it from getting ripped out
try useing a torch and heat it up really hot hen let it cool and heat it up a gain then try pulling it out heat alwasy seems to get rusted things free.
Heating can ruin the temper of the metal. Try the PB blaster first. I have never used a better penetrating oil than it. I got exhaust manifolds off with the stuff.

there is no temper in that metal they are made out of mild steel heating it won't hurt it at all.
i just had my friend pull on the sucker with his ranger and it didnt even slip at all, this thing is gonna be hard as hell to take out, my frined has a bobcat so i think im gonna hook it to that thing and just give her a good pull, if that doesnt do it , its gettin the axe.
im gonna say a bunch of stuff. put load on it, heat the crap out of it, then beat it with a hammer. if that dont work......theres not really anything left to try. you covered all the bases. if you dont want it, just cut it off and be done.
