It would be possible, but you would need the tranny-to-transfer case adapter from the same type of manual tranny your truck has. Putting aside all of the work it would take to add a clutch, some models are nearly bolt-on swaps and other need a different tailshaft, and some need special machining/fabrication to make'em work. If you want more info, post up what types of transmissions you have to make the swap. You can also search the transmissions forum for details. If your 88 F150 has the Mazda 5-speed, it may not be worth the trouble swapping it into the Bronco.
