Lightbulb Impact gun cover

I just got a craftsman 1/2 in drive impact gun. Problem is that I cant find a slip on cover for it to protect the back half of it from scratches considering it is plastic... Anyone know where I can get one anything that fits is fine. Sears didnt have one...... Besides the plastic case I like the gun alot 700 pounds of torque really is worth the extra money......

If it is the composet IR built gun I don't believe ther is a cover for it. I really don't worry about a few scratches. I but tools that work, not sit around and look pretty!!Greg

I have one of those and I dont think there is much danger of the plastic housing cracking, its tough.

Not to sound harsh, but do you think a rubber cover will help against that? A five foot drop is still a five foot drop, and running it over is still running it over. Besides, the plastic is fiber reenforced, and is quite thick. If you still feel you need a cover, try a tool truck. Both Snap-off and Mac sell versions of this gun, and they should have covers for them.
