Nuisance problem solved!

I have had an ongoing problem with a miss when climbing hills. I has been solve! Well, it hasn't come back yet anyway. I recently read a thread that said the the pcv valve on the truck style efi manifold is plumbed into the back of the intake manifold directly inline with the #8 intake runner causing some problems with the #8 cylinder. Made sense to me so I removed the stock plumbing and replaced it with a hose to the vacuum tree in the middle of the manifold and Voila! no more miss! It has been 2 weeks now and so far it has not returned. Unfortunatly I cannot find the author of the post to thank him so hopefully he will read this and consider him self thanked for solving a 10 month old problem! Keep up the good work. It sure beats taking it to the shop as I am sure they would never have found the problem and would most likely dissagree with the fix that I did.

Nuisance problem solved!

I'm gonna try the same thing, seems hot crankcase air would have less o2 and be kind of like running too much egr.

It shure worked for me. Please post your results when you do the change. I am interested in the results. It also seems like I have more power and the economy has improved as well but I haven,t done any tests on this yet. I'll let you know. SR.
