Electricity question

Can someone please explain to me what an LED circuit is? I've been reading about LED lights?? but I have no clue as to what LED means or anything.

Please don't pull out in front of me! I can't afford to play "What's this?" with you or your car

Electricity question

Basicly it is just an indicator type light(diode) used primarily because they are so small and use VERY little power.
You see them almost every where now. Radar detectors, car stereos, tv's VCR's etc.
