Without a limited slip only one tire has to spin on either end.
With open differentials on both ends when two tires spin, one on each axle, you are stuck.
usually not, you have to have some slip for taking corners. oherwise one of two things will give either the tire edges,or the front axle will twist. i know you can put a locking one in but it usually is not the best idea for a truck that lives on pvement,or roads.
I like lockers in the front and back, but something that's manually activated like an ARB. If you need it, you can activate it.
Intalling any LS/locker will void the warranty on the axle. Shouldn't effect anything else though. If you have the work done at a shop or dealer they should cover it for a year anyways.
