91 302 ideas
I have a 91 F150 with a 302 in it. I'm going to be rebuilding the engine soon and I am wanting to boost the power some. I have been kicking around all sorts of options and thought maybe some people on here could give me some opinions on my ideas.
Idea #1:
Keith Black .30 over pistons and rings, hooker headers, dual exhaust pipes with Thrush glass pack mufflers, Lunati cam (also which cam would be best for an overall gain in power?) Ofcourse new plugs, wires and such would go along with this. Does this combo of mods sound like it might wake my truck up a bit?
Idea #2:
347 stroker kits, plus Lunati cam, hooker headers, dual exhaust pipes with Thrush glass pack mufflers, again new plugs, wires and such. What kind of boost in power would I see with these mods?
Idea #3:
Supercharger, 347 stroker kits, plus Lunati cam, hooker headers, dual exhaust pipes with Thrush glass pack mufflers, again new plugs, wires and such. What kind of boost in power would I see with these mods? With all of these mods would I need to beef up things such as the tranny and rear end?

here is what I would do: drop in a 351 windsor 9.5:1 compression ratio, port and polish, Lazer cam, 108 lobe seperation angle, 230 Duturation @.50 .520"+ lift, long headers, holly 670 truck avenger, holly dual plane intake manafold, pertronix ignition.
shoot for 400+ torque @ 2500 and over 310 hp @ 5500 rpm
I would bolt this engine up to a ZF 5 speed with some 33" tires and 4.56 gears.
