<!First the truck has a ford 390 engine is this a big block or a small block is this a reliable but build able engine!>
automatic 2 x4 is it easy to change it from 2x4 to 4x4? i had one of these trucks before and i sold it. i have regreted it every day since. i am not about to let this one get away so any help you all could give me would be great.
i am buying it for 500 dollars the ladies husband was put into prison and she is selling it so she can move out of town and get away. the truck is well worth what she is asking. there is no rust on the body. its only been in kentucky for two years.
the truck is presently an automatic 2 x4 is it easy to change it from 2x4 to 4x4?
No. The easiest/cheapest way is to swap your body over to a 4x4 frame. You can install 4x4 parts to your truck but it ain't cheap or easy.

None of my business... but is he in jail for a loooong time? First thing that pops into my mind... guy gets out of jail, his lady is gone, sold his truck, took his money and ran. And the guy who bought it is still cruising "his truck" around town. Know what I mean? Could make for a bad experience. I'm not saying to pass it up but depending on the situation it might be something to factor in. Sounds like an awesome deal if it's all straight though! You guys down south got all the clean stuff! Up here around Chicago, $500 gets you a rusted out bed, holes in the floors, and cab corners gone.
