Stupid question. I have a F250 03 with LS When 4x4 is engaged, are only 2 wheels spining? The owners manual says "power is supplied to all four wheels through a transfer case". The owner's guide says this two times. The guide even goes further by showing a picture with arrows showing power going to all four wheels. I thought this was only possible with a locker. On my jeep power is only going to one front one rear opposite ends. The owner's guide has me confused. Can you please help explain this to me?

The LS on the superduties is not the greatest. A trick to get them to work is to hold your foot on the brake as you accelerate. If I'm pulling someone out who is stuck, usually that's enough of a load to get the LS to activate. I know because I've spun all 4 tires at once trying to pull out a buried 4-Runner.
BTW, you know you're stuck when an F-250, Toyota P/U, and 2 Jeeps with winches all tied on at the same time can't pull you out. I'm sure the frame on that 4-Runner will never be straight again.
