out of level?

i read a post the other day about suspension and someone said the b2 sits higher in the front from the factory.good news for me i guess because mine sits that way,but what are some cheaper ways to a just suspension with out breaking the bank.i like a factory look and am only interested in raising my truck a little bit and leveling it out.

i'm adding front coil springs from 87-91 f150 with a v8 and air conditioning will raise the front up at least 2"

Wink that was me

bronco2 like rangers sit higher from factory
cheap easy lifts can give you about 2inches without pitman arms or driveshaft problems.

you can get coil spacers, add a leaves for the back,or explorer springs/coils too
they give you about 2inches . you might need alignment bushings.
get some front leveling coils. etc.. quite a few choices.

Air shocks can help raise the rear end to make it sit more level.

You should never use air shocks to lift a vehicle, especially a BII with brackets that are 1/8 steel if that. If you drill out the brackets on the axle you can use full sized Bronco (80s) shocks on the rear axle. I have done that before.

One thing that makes the BII excellent off-road in even 2x4 is because the weight is well distributed compared to a pick up truck with more over the rear axle.

Note that changing that distribution changes the handling and will make it more prone to flip during a high speed emergency. I would change both axles equally, though noting both Aerostar and BII rears tend to sag a bit over time so if you are really dragging low you should lift it.
