My Haynes book says if I am going to replace the u-joints in my front prop shaft I need to take off the rear one first.
Do I really have too or can I just leave the rear one on and fix the front without any problems?
(btw...90 B2 4wd)
Thanks

Maybe they meant to take out the rear UJ on the front shaft first so you can easily rotate the shaft by hand (assuming your hubs are unlocked) so you can easily get at the U-bolt straps on the diff. side.
