I built mine; I found the work is in researching components and not in putting it together. Final assembly is the fun part .

Intel's new 775 land package processors(660,650,640,630) support 64-bit software with a 64-bit OS, same as AMD. XP is only 32-bit , there is a trailware version of XP Pro x64 edition out. 64-bit software is geared for buisness application now, it will probably be a few years before it becomes mainstream.

You are right. I forgot about Intel's new addition to their line.
