Slow cranking when starting

hey there guys i just got a 1986 ford f250. it has been sitting for a while and needed a battery so i but a new one in and did a tune up. When i try to crank it over it cranks slow the 1st few revolutions. it always starts but know this is not normal. what could cause this? The charging system is ok i checked it when did the tune up

i would check the ground and positive wires for broken insulator, breaks, frays. just check every connection from the battery to the starter.
i upgraded my ground wire to a 1/0. on a warm engine i can just tap the starter and shes running.

I would check the wires for corrosion also and maybe replace the Solinoid could be bad also test voltage to starter.

check to see if the starter is getting hot while cranking. Might have a problem here if the above doesn't work. Also check the battery connections to see if they are getting hot or sparking.
