HELP! Squeakin front end
Ive got a 97 f150 that squeaks badly when i turn. I know for a fact that i am not the only one because ive heard numerous other fords with the same problem. What do i do?

Had the same problem with my 97 F150 4x4... took it to dealer..they said gotta replace pitman arm...Laughed as I ran out of the service department. Bought a 4 dollar grease needle..insert onto a grease gun. I hit all enclosed rubber boot fittings on the steering parts ... now.. 2 months later.... no squeaks.. Hope this helps.

Have the same problem with my 97 and it is bad. I was told the last time I went in to get a front end alignment following new tires that I need front ball joints replaced both sides top and bottom. I kinda attributed the noise to worn ball joints? 
I also get a shake when braking hard. I'm getting ready to replace the joints, so I'll let you know if this takes the noise away.
